AI World Society (AIWS) – Key Milestones in 2025

Throughout 2025, AIWS moved decisively from vision to action—demonstrating that the defining challenge of the AI Age is not what AI can do, but how humanity chooses to guide it toward peace, dignity, and enlightened governance.

January 4, 2025 — Hanoi, Vietnam
An AIWS Government 24/7 Roundtable was held in Hanoi, honoring Amandeep Gill, United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Envoy on Technology, in recognition of his global leadership in responsible and human-centered AI governance.

January 9, 2025 — Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
At the Saigon International University Award and Conference, AIWS formally presented AIWS Government 24/7, introducing a new model of continuous, ethical, and human-centered governance for the AI Age.

February 10–11, 2025 — Paris, France
AIWS participated in the AI Action Summit Paris, contributing the AIWS Government 24/7 framework to the global dialogue on AI governance and engaging with initiatives led by President Emmanuel Macron.

March 11, 2025 — Harvard University Faculty Club, Cambridge, Massachusetts
Official introduction of AIWS Film Park, highlighting AIWS’s commitment to culture, cinema, and creative industries as essential pillars of a humane and enlightened AI civilization.

March 28, 2025 — Tokyo, Japan
At the Shinzo Abe Conference, AIWS presented its vision for democratic governance and financial innovation in the AI Age, culminating in:

• The Tokyo Accord for Government 24/7: AI and Finance Platforms
• The Abe Financial AI Protocol, honoring the legacy of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in global leadership, strategic foresight, and democratic resilience.

April 22, 2025 — Harvard University Loeb House, Cambridge, Massachusetts
Launch of the Boston Financial Accord for Governance 24/7, advancing ethical AI applications in finance and public-sector decision-making. On this occasion, Audrey Tang was honored with the World Leader in AIWS Award for her pioneering leadership in digital democracy and human-centered governance.

July 11, 2025 — International Announcement
Official announcement of the book
“The AI World Society: A 30-Year US–Vietnam Partnership from Nha Trang to Boston (1995–2025)”,
alongside the expansion of AIWS Music for Humanity, reinforcing culture and music as forces for peace, unity, and compassion in the AI Age.

October 28, 2025 — London, United Kingdom
A high-level Roundtable brought together General Secretary Tô Lâm, senior Vietnamese leaders, and leading global AI strategists. The dialogue focused on AIWS for Vietnam, exploring pathways for human-centered AI governance, national development, and long-term societal transformation.

November 3–4, 2025 — Harvard University Loeb House, Cambridge, Massachusetts
Major milestone events included:

• The launch of the AIWS Digital Asset Standards Initiative (DASI)
• Strategic discussions under America at 250 – A Beacon for the AI Age, positioning AIWS as a core framework for democratic renewal in the AI era.
