A Historic Moment at the Metropole: Vietnam Launches AIWS Healthcare Model and “Angel for Everyone” (Jan. 16, 2026)

January 16, 2026 — The BGF–AIWS Roundtable “Human Health in the AI Age,” held at the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi, marked a historic moment in the evolution of human-centered healthcare and responsible AI. Convened by the BGF–AIWS Family, the roundtable brought together visionary leadership from Vietnam’s private sector, the global AI governance community, and the United Nations to advance a shared mission: building a new model of healthcare that protects human dignity and strengthens well-being in the AI era.

At the roundtable, Madam Tran Thi Lam, Founder of Hoa Lam Group, formally launched the implementation of the AIWS Healthcare Model at Hoa Lam’s healthcare ecosystem, alongside the introduction of “Angel for Everyone”—a compassionate AI companion designed to support holistic health 24/7, including physical care, mental health, emotional balance, and early prevention. The initiative reflects a pioneering commitment to apply AI deeply in healthcare while upholding the highest standards of ethics, humanity, and compassion.

The roundtable also featured the participation of Amandeep Singh Gill, United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Special Envoy for Digital and Emerging Technologies, who underscored the global importance of responsible, human-centered digital transformation for public well-being. His presence symbolized international alignment around the principle that advanced technologies must serve people, strengthen trust, and contribute to a healthier and more humane future.

With the support of the BGF–AIWS Family, and in the spirit of global partnership represented by the United Nations, the event became a moment of three-party commitmentHoa Lam Group, BGF–AIWS Family, and the UN community—to collaborate in realizing the AIWS Healthcare Model and AIWS Angel. Together, they affirmed a common direction: healthcare innovation that is faster and smarter, yet never detached from human responsibility; technologically advanced, yet guided by conscience; globally connected, yet rooted in care for every person.

The Metropole Roundtable closed not only as a successful dialogue, but as a milestone—signaling that Vietnam is ready to help shape a new, ethical chapter of healthcare in the AI Age, where technology becomes a trusted companion to human life, not a replacement for human values.
