United Nations Centennial Initiative’s co-chairs invite leaders, artists, and writers to accompany in building an Age of Global Enlightenment

Boston, February 9, 2023

Dear Leaders, Artists, and Writers,

As Co-Chairs of the Boston Global Forum’s contribution to the United Nations Centennial, we are writing to you with a mission to create a new era of global enlightenment in the run-up to the 100th anniversary of the United Nations in 2045. This is a unique opportunity for us to come together and make a lasting impact on the world in all aspects of human possibility and achievement.

One of our immediate initiatives, “Every Person an Innovator, Creator,” aims to empower individuals across the globe to unleash their full potential as creative agents of change. We strongly believe we are moving towards an “Artificial Intelligence World Society” (AIWS) where AI assistants can address so many of the preoccupations of our everyday lives, allowing people-led innovation and creativity to transform our world and drive progress in every sphere of society in a true liberation of human flourishing and enlightenment. With the ability to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges and create new opportunities for all, this initiative has the potential to bring unity to our increasingly fragmented planet and its people.

Our objective is to create global excitement and opportunities for imagining the world of 2045, with its promises and obstacles, its hopes and hindrances. That’s why we are reaching out to you, as thinkers, artists, and writers who are, above all, creators. Through your work, platform, or voice, you have the power to inspire and motivate others to embrace their own creativity and innovation. Your ability to think differently and challenge the status quo can play a crucial role in shaping our world, our future, and ourselves. We hope you will join us as a leader in building the Age of Global Enlightenment, as part of a movement that will shape the future of our world.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Michael Dukakis and Ramu Damodaran

Co-Chairs,

The Boston Global Forum Initiative for the United Nations Centennial
