AI in the Age of Global Enlightenment Contest

AI Contest 2023 – AI in the Age of Global Enlightenment is an aspiring competition organized by VLAB Innovation in collaboration with the Boston Global Forum and the Michael Dukakis Institute for Leadership and Innovation.

It serves as a bridge between the young and the world’s great thinkers to exchange a universal subject, AI, and propel creative ideas into this field. The AI Contest seeks out students who inspire and invent. They are also candidates who are ready to enter the Age of AI Enlightenment and become AIWS citizens.

The AI Contest focuses on 2 fields: inspiration and innovation. It comprises two rounds: the Preliminary and Final Rounds. The Preliminary Round is divided into two phases. The first phase of the preliminary round is currently underway, and the application deadline has already passed. The final result was announced on May 20, 2023.

Harvard Professor Thomas Patterson, co-founder of the Boston Global Forum, gave a speech to congratulate the winners of the first phase:

I want to extend my warmest congratulations to the winners of the first phase of AI Contest 2023. You have come up with brilliant and innovative ideas relating to AI, ones that world leaders in AI would have been proud to have thought of. You truly have the makings of AIWS citizens – those among us who seek to create a more enlightened, caring, and shared world.

Again, my sincere congratulations for having reached the final round of the competition. I wish you the best of luck in the final round but, regardless of the outcome, be proud of the excellent work you’ve done so far. Your deep interest in AI is inspiring, and I have no doubt that this rapidly evolving area of study will benefit from your continuing involvement.

Think high, think deeply, think into the future. An Age of Enlightenment is possible, and we need you to stay involved to make that vision a reality.
